The blade has a convex grind, mirror polish finish, and measures 2". The handle scales are mother of pearl very nice looking with 4 pins and a fine taper tang.

Vintage bone handle hunting knife by the late Eldon Peterson of Whitefish Montana. The 3.25" hollow ground blade has a fine hand rub finish. The handle scales are bone almost looks like walrus ivory just good looking stuff. The knife has a fine taper tang, dovetailed s.s. bolsters with beveled edge very nice touch. OAL: 7.5". The knife has never been used about mint with a couple very light table scratches on the bolster. Original custom leather sheath.

Description: This is a super fine set by master knife maker Eldon Peterson of Whitefish Montana. Both knife have flat ground blades with bright mirror polish finish. Both the bolsters are dovetailed and beveled, very classy. Both knives are full tang with pins and lanyard holes. Both knives have never been used and are in near mint condition. Very cool double piggy back sheath. It doesn't get any better. I don't know if he is still making knives, but he was a full time knife maker since 1974.
