Vintage Awesome Stag Sweetwater model made by the late Walt Kneubuhler of Ohio. The 5" carbon steel blade has a fine satin finish. The handle is sambar stag accented with German silver fittings. OAL: 9.5". This beauty has never been used and is in mint condition with original leather sheath.

WALT KNEUBUHLER WAS BORN JULY 13 1906...HE BEGAN MAKING KNIVES FOR HIS MOTHER WHEN HE WAS TEN AND CONTINUED MAKING CUSTOM- ONE OF A KIND -KNIVES UNTIL HIS DEATH ON JUNE 14 1982. This vintage knife was made by Walt Kneubuhler probably in the late 60's to early 70's. The D-2 carbon steel blade was ground from quarter inch stock and measures 5" with a 2.5" clip on top not sharp. The handle is premium stag with German silver fittings. OAL: 9.5". The knife does not appear to be used and is in excellent plus condition. I do not have the original sheath but this one is made of thick grade leather and fits like a glove.

Rare Manuel Lisa Spear Point Knife made by the Late Walt Kneubuhler of Texas. The 9" carbon steel blade has a 5" clip and a satin finish. The handle is the old discontinued Westinghouse Ivory Micarta which matches on both sides. The knife has the German silver double guard and pommel. OAL: 14". The knife has never been used and is in excellent condition. The knife comes with the original quality leather sheath made by Walt. This is a very rare model very few where made and they are hard as heck to find. Zipper pouch included.
