Description   WALT KNEUBUHLER WAS BORN JULY 13 1906...HE BEGAN MAKING KNIVES FOR HIS MOTHER WHEN HE WAS TEN AND CONTINUED MAKING CUSTOM- ONE OF A KIND -KNIVES UNTIL HIS DEATH ON JUNE 14 1982. This vintage knife was made by Walt Kneubuhler probably in the late 60's to early 70's. The D-2 carbon steel blade was ground from quarter inch stock and measures 5" with a 2.5" clip on top not sharp. The handle is premium stag with German silver fittings. OAL: 9.5". The knife does not appear to be used and is in excellent plus condition. I do not have the original sheath but this one is made of thick grade leather and fits like a glove.
