Vintage Hand Forged Damascus Skinner by ABS Master Smith Daniel Winkler. The 3.5" blade is random pattern damascus with rough forged texture and thumb position file work. The handle is Elk Horn with heat treated bolsters and a fine taper tang. The knife is marked on the tang with the number 07. OAL: 7.25". Excellent fit and finish. The knife has never been used and is near mint condition. The original Karen Shook sheath is a real work of art by itself. The sheath is raw hide covered, heavily fringed and decorated with woven quill band, beads, tin cone, and horse hair. The inside is vegetable tan leather. Daniel Winkler MS is no longer taking orders for hand forged knives.
