Hand Forged Scagel Style Knife By Roger "Mudbone" Jones. Unique blade style Forged by Roger from 5160 carbon steel 3/8" round bar stock, then clay tempered-double flat ground-top bevel grind is thin not quite sharp false edge. The blade measures 4 1/2" with a hand rub finish. The handle is crown stag accented with multi spacers, brass guard soldered from the back to get a perfect seem. OAL; 9 1/8". The knife comes with the original hand tooled leather sheath with aluminum arrow-a tribute to Mr Scagel. The knife does not appear to be used but has a couple carbon spots.
