Hand forged Damascus camp knife by the much lauded Brazilian knife maker Ricardo Vilar. Ricardo made this one in the USA when he was studying bladesmithing in Arkansas. The random pattern hand forged blade measures 7 1/8" and is 1/4" thick. The spine of the blade has fancy file work which matches the Damascus guard. The handle is premium figured desert ironwood accented with file worked guard collar and butt. OAL: 12 1/2". Beautiful classic look the knife comes with a custom sheath by Ricardo with matching Damascus clasp. The knife feels fantastic in the hand and has perfect balance-he did a really nice job on this one. The sheath looks like it might be ostrich skin or it may have been made to look that way. The knife has never been used and is near mint condition with a couple small scratches near the guard that are very hard to see without a magnifying glass.
