Vintage Sub-Hilt Bowie Knife with Bear Fittings by Jim Pugh. The 6" flat ground blade is 1/4" thick and has a fine hand rub finish with fancy file work. The handle is deep rich desert ironwood accented with brass guard with bear paw on both top and bottom. Brass spacers sub-hilt and bear head top this gorgeous knife off. OAL: 11.5". The craftsmanship is flawless and Jim's knives are like no other. Jim was one of the original founding members of the Knife Makers Guild. The knife has never been used and is in mint condition. The knife comes with a zipper pouch no sheath.
