Description
Rare John Nelson Cooper Texas Skinner 1 of 4. The 5 1/2" blade is ground from 3/16" steel and is 1 3/4" wide. The handle is kind of yellow orange micarta accented with brass spacers and fittings. The handle is kind of interesting in that tapers down about 1/2 below the guard so the handle is not so thick. OAL: 10 3/4". This is one massive heavy knife but it feels great in the hand. The knife does not look like its been used but does have some light sheath scratches and some very light peppering here and there. The knife comes with a heavy duty hand made leather sheath with rivets. Note: According to Clif Lenderman this knife is called the "Texas Skinner" and Cooper only made 4 of them.
