Rare Ralph Bone Integral Hunting Knife. The blade measures 2.5" and has ID FTIG and 149 stamped on the blade. The handle looks like rosewood accented with 5 brass pins. The knife is Integral which means the entire steel is made from one solid piece of steel very strong and hard to make. OAL: 7". Ralph Bone shared his shop with G.W. Stone and this knife could have been made by Ralph when he and stone shared the shop. The knife looks a lot like G.W. Stone's integral knives very similar. This is the first time that I have ever seen a Bone Integral they are very rare. The knife has a very fine taper tang and some file work for the thumb. The fit and finish are fantastic and the knife has never been used and in in excellent condition. Original pouch sheath included.
Note: I just received info from a Ralph bone expert and he told me this knife was made around 1974 and was called the President's Knife, most were made with a 4" blade. So this knife was not made along side G W Stone but later in Bone's career.
