Description

For sale is a BEAUTIFUL 1984 commemorative knife made by Western Cutlery Company in cooperation with the Coleman Company. The knife is a Bowie knife and is marked WESTMARK U.S.A. 701 . The blade is 5 5/8 inches long. The overall length is 10 1/8 inches long The scales are premium sambar stag.
The knife is a limited edition of 2000. This knife features a Beautiful etched design on the knife blade. The design is an outdoor scene from artwork by noted outdoor wildlife illustrator Russ Buzzell. The other side of the knife is plain.
The knife is in a wooden presentation case with glass front and red velvet lined body for holding the knife. There is a pre-drilled hanger hole in the back for hanging on the wall if so desired. There is a working, locking brass latch and the lower left corner of the top is etched in the wood with the logos of both companies. The Knife is in Mint Condition and the stag is much better looking than the picture really premium scales. Note: These knives are supposed to have the serial number stamped on the blade from 1 to 2000. This knife has no serial number not sure why? Could be it slipped by or perhaps its a proto-type? Don't know but its a really nice one.
