WALT KNEUBUHLER WAS BORN JULY 13 1906...HE BEGAN MAKING KNIVES FOR HIS
MOTHER WHEN HE WAS TEN AND CONTINUED MAKING CUSTOM- ONE OF A KIND -KNIVES
UNTIL HIS DEATH ON JUNE 14 1982.
This knife was made by Walt probably in the mid 70's. Its called the Jedediah Smith model. The blade is D-2 and measures 8 1/2" x 1/4. The handle is rosewood with German silver fittings. OAL: 13 3/8". The knife has never been used but does show some carbon spots. Excellent fit and finish. Original sheath in mint condition.
