Description

Tiny Spencer Art knife with carved Eagle. The 4.25" 440-C s.s. blade has a 58 RC and a mirror polish finish. The handle is a gorgeous hand carved Eagle in water buffalo horn. The handle is accented with a yellow amber spacer and a brass guard. OAL: 8". Tiny passed away in 2009 and this is some back ground information. The story goes that Tiny was inspired by Gil Hibben in the early 70's when Gil rented space in Tiny's Taxidermy shop. Tiny went full time knife making in 1993 until his death in 2009. Tiny spent 30 yrs in Alaska as a guide, taxidermist, outfitter, and bush pilot. He divided his time between Alaska and the north Oregon coast. Tiny also made this awesome leather sheath with mink overlay and tail? The knife and sheath have never been used and are near mint condition.
