Description   Ron Welling recreates the Scagel Style in Damascus, Leather, Nickel Silver and Stag. The hand forged Damascus blade is one of the best looking pieces I have seen on a Welling knife its really awesome looking stuff like fireworks. The blade measures 7.5" and notice the use of Scagel's recurved kris stamp on both sides of Welling's name. The handle is a gorgeous combination of leather, stag, nickel silver, and multi spacers of brass and fiber spacers. OAL: 13.5". Ron made 2 of these knives one with a brass guard and this one with a nickel silver guard. The one with the brass guard was featured in the Blade Show issue of Blade Magazine May 2004. I will included the picture from the Blade magazine plus I will also included a signed copy of Blade August 2013 issue. Ron is featured on the cover and signed both the cover and the page of the article. I will also included 3 laminated pictures of Ron forging a knife (could be this knife?). The knife comes with a fancy handmade Welling sheath and both the knife and sheath are in mint condition.
