Rare John Nelson Cooper Bowie Knife in Pristine Mint Condition from the Cardinal Collection. This beauty has a 9 5/8" blade with the Cooper in eagle logo. The handle is dark brown grainy micarta accented with large brass spacer. The knife sports a double brass guard and experimental copper eagle beak butt cap. OAL: 14 3/4". The knife has never been used and was soaked in oil and stored in sealed plastic for years. Its almost impossible to find Cooper's in this condition. The knife was made between 1968 and 1978. Premium zipper pouch included no sheath.
