Rare John Nelson Cooper 9 1/2" Bowie with copper butt cap. This rare beauty is in mint condition and is from the Cardinal Collection. The blade is 9.5" and razor sharp. The handle is brownish red micarta with black spacer. The guard is extra thick brass and the butt cap is copper. John made most of his knives with brass only but once in a while he would experiment with other materials like copper and nickel silver. The oal: is 13.5". This knife is in mint condition and comes with a premium zipper pouch no sheath. The Cardinal collection consists of only the finest examples and I doubt you will find a nicer one than this. Note: Cooper in Eagle logo dates this knife between 1968 and 1978.
