Ken Henschel Custom Fillet Knife. 440C stainless blade and gorgeous laminated pakkawood handles.
Ken Henschel is retired now and has been making custom knives for over 55 years. He cuts his own blade blanks and hand makes his knives. The only part of the entire process that he does not do himself is the hardening process. He sends the blades out to be hardened to 57-59 Rockwell. The blade measures 7.25" and has a fine mirror polish finish. The OAL; 12".

The blade is etched with KHENSCHEL inside the silhouette of a fish. The sheath is hand made of heavy cowhide. The lower half is lined with sheet aluminum for cut-proofing, and the entire interior is lined with cordura nylon. All hardware is heavy duty brass. The knife has never been used and is in mint condition.
