Vintage small game hunting knife by legendary knife maker Joe Cordova. The 3" blade has thumb notch and a fantastic mirror polish finish. The handle scales are premium sambar stag and match well. The knife has a fine taper tang accented with red liners. Joe keeps great records and this knife is stamped 3851 50 on the inside tang. OAL: 6.5". Joe makes a great sheath kind of unique with a heart cut out. This old knife and sheath are in mint condition and the craftsmanship is flawless. Note: Joe studied knife making with Moran and Loveless. He is a master smith and member of both the Knife Makers Guild and the ABS. He sold his first knife in 1953.
