Rare Vintage Cold Steel Tanto model 13A with San Mai laminated blade. The 5.75" blade is AUS8 stainless steel core is San Mai laminated. The handle is black textured Kraton with brass fittings.  OAL: 11". These laminated 13A knives are much rarer than the plain AUS8 blades and they are pre Master Tanto's which are marked San Mai. These early San Mai blades are not marked but you can easily see the laminated line along the edge of the blade. This knife is in Mint condition with the original black leather sheath marked Japan.
