Description   Vintage Mid lock Folding Knife with color deer scene scrimshaw by Syd Davis of Richmond TX. The 3.5" blade has a bright mirror polish finish and nail nick. The handle scales are the old discontinued Westinghouse Ivory Micarta with beautiful scrimshaw scene. The knife has double slant dovetail bolsters very well done. The knife measures 7.75" open and 4.25" closed. Excellent fit and finish the knife has never been used and is in near mint condition with a couple of small holes in the bolsters. Many times a bar of steel with have some imperfections like little air pockets and they don't show up until the steel has been ground which by then the maker will either through it away and start over or make the knife with the imperfection. This was the case and should not hurt the value or operation.
