Rare Jody Samsom not Bali-Song Wee Hawk possible proto type to the Wee Hawk by Bali-Song. The blade has a 3.5" cutting edge plus 2.5" top clip which is sharp. The handle looks like paper micarta very smooth. The fittings are nickel silver. The knife is full tang construction and OAL: 8.25". Absolutely fantastic craftsmanship perfect fit and finish. The knife hs never been used and is in mint condition. Kydex sheath included but not original to the knife fits ok. Jody Samson & John Nelson Cooper California Hunter Model Knife. The 5.75" x .25" blade has a partial double edge which is sharp. The handle is brown micarta accented with brass fittings. Jody Samson only made 2 California Hunters and they were the first knives he made using the new Logo the eagle with Cooper in the middle and Samson underneath. You will find this information in "John Nelson Cooper" Cooper Knives Book Two on page 66. I agree with the author William A. Martin that the Jody Samson Cooper Knives are the rarest of rare as you have 2 great knife makers names on one knife. OAL: 10.75". This is one heavy duty knife which looks like a Bowie knife. Awesome craftsmanship excellent fit and finish. The knife has never been used but has some light pitting on one side and some carbon spots not bad otherwise excellent condition. It also comes with the original custom leather sheath with logo on back. I will also include John Nelson Cooper Book 11 by William martin.
