Vintage Fancy Drop Point Hunting Knife by Award Winning Knife Maker Gene Baskett of Kentucky. Gene has been featured on the cover of Blade Magazine and has served as President of the Knifemakers Guild. The 3" blade has a fine hand rub finish, plus file work on both top and bottom. The handle is deep rich desert ironwood sculpted for extra comfort and beauty. The handle has a taper tang with brass pins and lanyard hole. OAL: 7.75". Description: This gorgeous inter-frame folder was probably made in the late 90's while Ralph lived in Grovetown Ga. The blade has a super mirror polish finish with nail nick and the #170 etched on the blade. The interframe has ironwood inserts and the craftsmanship is perfect. The knife measures 2.75" closed and the action is perfect. The knife has never been used and comes with a red felt pouch.
