MARBLES'S MARBLE'S RARE MARBLE'S 8"
Very hard to find knife unused with original box and sheath. Rare Marble's Expert Model made from original 1906-1914 pattern 1 of 250. This is the first time this knife is being offered since it was made back in 1999. The blade measures 5" with a satin finish, etching and logo are on the same side of the knife. The handle is premium Rosewood with Lignumtitae butt and brass guard and spacers. OAL; 9.25". Very hard to find knife unused with original box and sheath. The knife is about mint with just a few carbon spots as to be expected. I will also included a letter from Mike Smith Vice President of Cutlery division Marble's Arms. In the letter it states that the blade is original vintage 1940's/1950's reserve stock. The spacers are also from that period. The Rosewood was found in the garage in the rear of the plant. It has been there since the 1960's. The only component they purchased was the Lignum Vite for the pommels. They hired master leather smith Eric Peterson to re-create the original tube sheath. Very nice package. The blade is 8" carbon steel ground from 1/4" stock with blood groove. The handle is gorgeous sambar stag.
