Rare vintage Buffalo Horn & Ivory Ruffin Johnson model #2. The late Ruffin Johnson was inducted into the Texas Knifemakers Hall Of Fame a few years back. This gorgeous knife has a 4" 440-c s.s. Blade with a super mirror polish finish and unique file work. The handle is buffalo horn with elephant ivory finger spacer. The butt of the knife has Ruffin's signature sterling silver wolf's head. The blade also has both of Ruffin's logos on both sides of the blade. OAL: 8.5". Knife comes with the original hand tooled leather sheath. The knife has never been used and is in pristine mint condition. I will also included Ruffin's last catalog with pictures of all his model's. The reason I say this knife is rare is because its the only one I have seen with buffalo horn. He usually used Siberian antelope but this knife he used buffalo horn and jigged it to look like Siberian antelope.
