Description: Massive handmade Bowie by one of the most famous knife makers ever Gil Hibben. The Alaska logo dates this knife between 1970 and 1975 Vietnam era. This monster blade is made of forged 440-c s.s. and is over a quarter inch thick by 2.5" wide. It has a razor sharp edge with a super deep mirror polish finish. The handle is made of rosewood with double lugged brass guard and pommel. This thing is truly a beast, the fit and finish are fantastic. Knife comes with a custom logo Hibben zipper pouch. Knife is as close to mint as you will find for its age with just a few handling marks and of course the tarnish which I would leave as is since its a Nam era knife.
